Adi Sankara is recognised all over the world as the founder and principal proponent of the Advaita Vedanta system. So great was his influence that almost all later systems either had to embrace his view or to refute him in order to establish their own philosophical school. He has also written significant works including important commentaries on the principal Upanisad-s, The Bhagavad Gita and even the Yogasutra-s of Patanjali. This apart he has written innumerable poems on a wide variety of themes.
Here is one titled Siva Aparadha Ksamapana Stotram, that is dedicated to Lord Siva, and requesting his forgiveness.
